Purchasing
Zembro products have upfront product costs as well as ongoing service fees.
The product cost covers the purchase of the product, which you own (and which is covered by our warranty).
The ongoing service provision fees are charged monthly and cover the cost of the LTE or LTE-M SIM Connection, 24/7 Guardian Alerting, SMS & Email Alerts, real-time alert updates, and 09:00 - 17:00 CET customer support.
For full details on the product prices and service provision fees, you should view the individual product pages, which give details of all prices
The service charge is intended to cover the SIM connection costs and any calls, texts, or voice messages, as well as the alerting services and support that Zembro offers. This includes the development of new capabilities such as a mobile web app that will be coming soon
Yes, your subscription will be paid in advance for the coming month. Once you cancel, you will continue to avail of the service until one month after the final payment, when your service will end and you will no longer be able to raise alerts. You may restart an expired subscription at any time.
In order to cancel a subscription, you should contact service@zembro.com
After you complete the purchase of your chosen device, Zembro will send you email to keep you informed of the delivery status. Once your device has been delivered, we will send you a final email with links to configure your device and set up your preferred subscription. You will be able to pay by credit card or bank transfer.
Zembro devices require a subscription to access all features and services. Without a subscription, the device will not be able to make calls or send data so will not function.
Usage
The device is straightforward to use. First, you register and configure your device with Zembro Care, which will be done online after the device is delivered.
You then ensure that the wearer knows how to charge and use their device.
Depending on the device purchased, the wearer can trigger an alert either with a button press or automatically when they exit a designated safe zone.
This alert is sent to the designated guardians and where applicable to the 24/7 Zembro Care team.
The alert is tracked and updated through a web page (mobile or pc), and for some devices a separate voice channel is opened.
No, all Zembro devices work independently. The only thing you would need is access to a plug socket in order to use the chargers.
The Wander Alert solution does come with 4 beacons that are placed around the house in order to help identify when you are at home or in a safe place. The Simple Alert solution can also have beacons added as an optional extra.
If you accidentally trigger an alert, you can cancel it by following the instructions for the specific device.
If the alert does get sent, it can be cancelled by any of your guardians and notes can be added to provide an update to the wider guardian network.
You can test the alert system by triggering an alert on your device and then cancelling it. Make sure to inform your guardians in advance so they know it's a test and not a real emergency.
Once tested, cancel the alert on the device by pressing the alert button again, and putting it on its charger.
Adding and changing guardian details can currently only be done by contacting customer service. Please email service@zembro.com and provide details of any changes you would like to make. If they have questions, they will contact you back.
In the future we will provide a web interface to allow you to do this without contacting customer services

Generally, these types of devices are designed for individual use to ensure accurate tracking and alerting. Sharing a device may cause confusion or inaccurate information during an emergency.
The water-resistance of your Zembro device may vary depending on the specific model. Check the user manual or contact Zembro's customer service to confirm if your device can be worn in the shower or while swimming.
Zembro devices are designed to be worn all the time for continuous monitoring and safety. Unless otherwise stated by the manufacturer, it should be safe to wear your device while sleeping.
As long as the country you're visiting has compatible network coverage, you should be able to use your Zembro device. It's recommended to check with Zembro's customer service for specifics before you travel.
Please contact our customer service, we are happy to help you. Once the new application is available, customers will be able to adjust this themselves.
We send out your device configured with all your contacts and data. The device is therefore ready for use and you do not have to adjust or configure anything yourself.
When launching an alert, contacts will receive an alert notification immediately via SMS and/or email (depending on your preferences).
The alert can be closed via this web link either by changing the status to resolved or by placing the device on the charger.
If the alert is not closed by one of the contacts or the device is not placed on the charger, the SafeTrx platform will close the alert automatically after 48 hours.
Please note, that you must cancel the call sequence of your Mini or Comfort device manually by pressing on the cancel alert button on the side of the device.
Yes, but we recommend you ensure your device is charged so that an alert can be launched in case of emergency. We therefore recommend charging your device daily, or once the battery level falls below 20%.
Upon receiving your Zembro device, place it on the charger until you can see the correct time on the display (except Essentials Mini), and the device is fully charged.
Your Wander Alert will switch to night mode between 22:00 until 08:00. This means that the screen will be less bright so as not to disturb you while you are sleeping. Please note, that your watch still works correctly and can alert even with the screen in night mode.
To turn off night mode, please contact Zembro Customer Services.
Guardians or emergency contacts can send messages from the notification page that they visit when a watch user alerts. To do this:
-Follow the link in the alert
-Click on the fourth tab from the left, with the envelope symbol
By default, the contact name is given
-Under message, you can type the message, the number of available characters is given
-The default responses are 'yes' or 'no'
-Click 'send message'
The message will appear on the tab, you can see the status of the message here (delivered, read, ...)
The user can respond by pressing the 'yes' or 'no' button.
The response of the message will also appear here
Fall detection will be available on the Wander Alert products soon, and is currently being tested. When tested and released, it will become available to all users.
More information will then be posted on the Zembro website.
Troubleshooting
The SIM card used for all Zembro devices has excellent service, so most places should have good connectivity. The premium Simple and Wander Alert devices use an LTE-M SIM card that provides even better coverage. In the unlikely event that there isn't coverage in your area, Zembro will refund your purchase
The frequency of charging depends on several factors, including the device you have chosen, the network signal in the area, whether you are using a beacon, and whether the device goes into alert mode.
Zembro and its partners strive to make battery life as long as possible, aiming for at least 24 hours. In the case of Simple Alert with an associated beacon, the battery life could be even longer
If the device isn't charging, check to ensure the charger is plugged in and the device is correctly connected. If it's still not charging, try using a different charger, if one is available, or test the charger with a different device to rule out an issue with the charger itself.
If problems persist, contact Zembro's customer service for assistance.
If your device isn't sending alerts, make sure it's properly connected to the network and that the guardians' contact information has been correctly entered.
If the device is still not sending alerts, there may be a technical issue and you should contact Zembro's customer service for support at service@zembro.com.
If you're not receiving alerts, check your phone and email settings to ensure you're not blocking or receiving these alerts in a spam folder.
If you're still not receiving alerts, contact Zembro's customer service for assistance at service@zembro.com.
Check to make sure the device's volume is turned up and not muted.
If it's still not working, there may be a technical issue and you should contact Zembro's customer service for support at service@zembro.com.
Ensure the device has a clear view of the sky for optimal GPS function. Buildings, tunnels, and certain weather conditions may impact GPS accuracy.
If the device consistently provides inaccurate location data, it may be a technical issue, and you should contact Zembro's customer service at service@zembro.com.
All Zembro devices are water-resistant to varying degrees (see specific product technical details), but if a device is exposed to water and starts malfunctioning, turn it off, pat it dry, and let it air dry in a well-ventilated area.
Do not attempt to dry it using heat, like a hairdryer. Once it's completely dry, try turning it back on.
If it still doesn't work, contact Zembro's customer service at service@zembro.com.
Battery life can be affected by several factors including the strength of your network signal, how often the device goes into alert mode, and whether a beacon is being used.
If your device's battery is draining faster than expected, it may be worth contacting Zembro's customer service for advice or potential solutions at service@zembro.com.
If the device isn't turning on, ensure it's charged. If it still doesn't turn on, try resetting the device. This can be done for Wander Alert by placing the device in the charger and pressing the two right buttons for approx 3 seconds.
If it still won't turn on, it may be a technical issue, and you should contact Zembro's customer service at service@zembro.com.
